BRETT SCHRIER is an accomplished vocal coach, music director, and composer in New York City. After a childhood spent performing, Brett attended The Boston Conservatory, where he pioneered an individualized degree in Music Direction for Musical Theatre. Since graduation, he has become a driving force in venues across the world.

Brett's music directing and conducting credits include: Hairspray (National Tour), 42nd Street (National Tour), Cats (Royal Caribbean), Les Miserables, I Love You…You're Perfect…Now Change, Miss Saigon, The Will Rogers Follies, Fiddler On The Roof, Beauty And The Beast, and A Chorus Line. His arrangements are frequently performed at distinguished venues in NYC and in international concerts and recordings. Brett served as Music Director for Broadway In South Africa, Broadway Under The Stars in Sonoma, Chuggington (Disney), and the National Tours of Scooby-Doo! (Warner Bros) and Sesame Street Live! Brett is Vocal Director for Royal Caribbean Productions and travels the globe recruiting artists and casting.

Named one of New York's "most talented writers," Brett has written and developed three musicals. His first, Take Two! The Online Dating Musical! earned rave reviews for its World Premiere at Northern Stage. Brett also composed the score for Mr. Popper's Penguins, which is licensed by Plays For New Audiences, and produced by companies worldwide. His newest project, Time Between Us, won Critic's Pick Award in the New York Musical Theatre Festival, followed by several regional productions, and is in development for an Off-Broadway run. Time Between Us was named 'one of the most thought-provoking, cutting edge pieces of musical theatre this decade.'

A former college instructor at Marymount Manhattan College, Brett coaches many of Broadway's most notable stars. He is also Founding Director of Broadway Playground, a nationwide program connecting aspiring performers with leaders in the industry - while providing a creative place to learn and explore.
